My vegetarian friend, Adrienne, in East Hampton is so grateful to Halo for their meatless dog food, Vegan Garden Medley, which is made with protein from lower-glycemic ingredients like chickpeas. It includes essential vitamins and nutrients in both versions, the tasty kibble and canned. Adrienne’s rescue dogs, Cookie (older lady with white whiskers) and her young dude Larry—adopted from the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons—adore their veggie chow. What’s important to Adrienne is that she can feed them well-balanced and delicious meals without having to bring meat into her home, which is important for her lifelong adherence to vegetarianism. Halo donates a bowl of food to shelters with every purchase, so Adrienne and her family are passing the love along to less fortunate pets.
